The down and feather pheasants are used during hunting dog training.

The trail starts from the fall site (where the pheasant has fallen), leaving behind some down and feathers.

To support the dog of the runner, you can also leave down and feathers on the way and certainly on the hooks, this stimulates the dog enormously and has a positive effect.
